Our Response To COVID-19
Since the beginning of March 2020, our staff has worked diligently to ensure that we can manage the precautions and operations associated with COVID-19. Our top priority is the health and safety of our residents and staff. This page includes what we hope to be helpful information about our response to COVID-19. I thank our staff for the care and dedication they display during this time.
General Information, COVID – 19 is an infectious disease caused by a virus. It can lead to respiratory illness with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and shortness of breath. In a growing number of cases, it can be more severe than the flu, with a higher mortality rate. Certain populations are more at risk of getting this virus, including individuals age 60 or older and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions.

Since the beginning of March 2020, we implemented prevention strategies developed specifically for our communities and level of care. Our strategies are based on the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Governor’s Office, State Department of Health and the County Health Departments.
The following is a not an all-inclusive list of precautions we took at the appropriate times; restricted visitation, health screening, revised cleaning schedules, modified dining and activities. Purchased and provided necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) appropriate to our level of care and services. Developed a plan to handle COVID – 19 cases. We continue to provide education, updates and communicate information regularly.
If you have any questions regarding your community, please contact the Executive Director. You can also contact Todd Marsh, CEO. I again want to thank our staff for the care and dedication they showed throughout this unusual time. We will get through this together.
